Celebrate the 149th running of the Kentucky Derby at the 2023 Welvista Stakes! The annual sell-out event hosts delicious hors d’oeuvres and desserts by Dupre Catering, live music by Heart N Soul, signature cocktails & other spirits, a silent and live auction along with the viewing of the “Greatest Two Minutes in Sports” – the famed Kentucky Derby. Guests come dressed to impress in their best Derby attire as prizes will be given for Best Hat and Most Dapper!

Heart 'n Soul Jazz plays at 5 PM. The full Heart 'n Soul band plays after the race (around 8 PM).

All proceeds from the evening will provide access to essential health services, including Welvista’s medication assistance program for the uninsured and Smiles for a Lifetime children’s dental centers.

This weekend First Presbyterian Church is celebrating its 225th (+2) anniversary. The event is open to the public and is free.

They'll have live music from the Heart 'n Soul band on Lady Street from 4:00pm-7:00pm. We invite you to bring a lawn chair to sit and enjoy the music!

Hilinski's Hope (H3H) was founded in 2018 by Mark & Kym Hilinksi to honor the life of their son Tyler. His brother, Ryan is the University of South Carolina's quarterback. H3H helps colleges and universities save lives, eliminate stigma, and scale mental wellness programs for student-athletes. H3H does this by sharing Tyler’s story, connecting students with mental health resources, and assisting universities to institutionalize best practices. This evening will be fun and informative as we hear what the Hilinski family is doing to help educate, advocate and de-stigmatize mental illness especially among student athletes.
